About us
For those who don't know us well as a couple, we have been together for almost seven years.
We met at Stoneleigh Bible Week in 2000, and for the first five years we were living 100 miles apart; Ben in Surrey, and Emily in Dorset, where Ben eventually moved to in the spring of 2006.
In case you only know one half of us, Emily is a Nurse working at Bournemouth Hospital, and Ben works for digital communications company Redweb, in Poole. We both attend Bournemouth Family Church, and enjoy cinema, going out to eat and, if Emily's lucky, the odd walk or shopping trip.
Engagement
After a delicious meal in Bournemouth, Ben finally proposed on Friday 22nd December 2006, on the waterfront in Boscombe, Dorset. Obviously, Emily's answer was an immediate, and resounding: "Yes!"
